Meet the team
Richard
Richard has a wealth of experience in the logistics and supply chain sector, having commenced his logistics journey in 1985 as an apprentice. In 1992, at the age of 22, he was voted onto the Board of Directors of Palletline Plc, the first UK pallet network. Two years later, he founded SLi and pioneered the pallet network sector for many years. He formed TCS in 2010, as a commercial business consultancy to support other companies with their business strategies and future development. During his career, Richard has received over 10 prestigious business awards including Business of the Year and Outstanding Business Person. His creativity, determination and acumen, combined with his exceptional entrepreneurial flair, is highly inspirational.
Chris
Chris graduated from Cambridge University with a 2:1 degree in economics, trained as a chartered accountant and qualified in taxation. In 1991 he accepted his first Board appointment with an SME group in the bus and coach industry; a business that grew both organically and by acquisition until its sale just seven years later for £20m. Chris has a sharp business mind, an ability to quickly identify the solution but without sacrificing attention to the detail. He has been successfully consulting and fulfilling interim roles for many years across a broad spectrum of industry sectors including transport, manufacturing, recycling and education.
Stuart
Stuart is a fellow business owner who understands the courage, determination, skill, self-belief, and sheer hard work required to establish and grow a profitable company. Having been in the trenches himself, he understands the pitfalls and intense pressure that comes with starting a business. Through starting his own business, he’s gained the experience and skills to confidently apply the correct strategies and tactics to achieve success. As a coach and mentor, he’s passionate about helping others to achieve similar results in their business, and to re-energise their ambitions and dreams by working with them and investing his energy into making their business as successful as it can be.
Alex
Alex is an extremely tenacious and resilient entrepreneur with almost a decade of expertise in the digital marketing sector. In just three years, Alex has scaled his own full-service digital agency in a fiercely competitive marketplace to one that employs 20 full-time staff and generates more than £1m in annual revenue – making it one of the fastest-growing in East Anglia. The agency works as a digital partner to growing businesses, putting together integrated digital campaigns that enhance their clients’ online brands and generate strong returns on investment. Alex is passionate about self-development in business and mentoring like-minded entrepreneurs to transform their visions into profitable realities.
